| Description | J.D. Barrington declared that his late father, J..D. Berrington elder m. Mary Anne Morgan, spinster of St. James', Bath, in 1800. Jenkin was the eldest son born 17 April 1801. J.D. Berrington elder died 12 May 1834, buried at Llangevelach. J.D. Berrington was heir at law.
1834, J.D. Berrington purchased Woodlands Castle Estate and has since added to it - see attached plan.
1857, he parted with estate to his son, Arthur Davies Berrington. William Graham Vivian has lately agreed to purchase it from his son. Arthur Davies Berrington said he had had possession and rents from the estate as set out in the abstracts of title since 1857.
